ABOUT ME: I'm an illustrator/local comic weeb based in either Carlisle or North Wales depending on the time of year. I mostly go by Peeb or Pib but my name is actual name is Phoebe. I draw myself as a strange little yellow emoji being who's eyes are too sparkly and weight is definitely normal and definitely not in need of losing some. I'm scarily obsessed with pink to the point that it's become my stereotypical characteristic. I enjoy animated media and researching demons (I currently wish to own a book called Infernalle Dictionnaire which is a book about summoning demons, surprisingly or not, you can't buy it easily.) I mostly spend time in my attic room in Carlisle staring at the clouds and wishing for the fall of capitalism but other than all of the above, I think I'm fairly normal (lol). |

What Do You Specialise In?
I mostly specialise in digital art, I've had about 10 years experience working with tablets and computers. I'm part of that weird generation that grew up with digital art and I practiced more on my laptop than I did on paper. I have always been fascinated with character designs and people, mostly the fantastical variety. I currently am writing a comic about demons and angels and gods and everything in between, it's just always been my guilty passion that I haven't stopped working on for years. Comics, characters and digital art is what I'd say I'm known for.
What's your Inspiration?
I was that kid, that kid maybe you knew in class, you know, the one who never stopped watching cartoons and everyone else was watching those adult teen shows. Even now, I spend more time thinking about animation and cartoons than anything else. Was I that anime kid in school? Definitely. I will not deny that Japan and Japanese media has thoroughly inspired me to pursue art as a career, its something I hold dear to me and I won't deny it as my influence.
Are you just another Anime Artist?
Uhm, yes? Maybe? No? I feel like that's up to others' interpretation of my art. Personally, I feel like I've steered away from that kind of art and I prefer not to be one of those instagram anime artists but if that's how you want to see me that's how you can see me.
What Program/Tools Do you Use?
For digital art I use Clip Studio Paint for drawing and editing, it does all the things as Photoshop but better for digital artists #notsponsoredbutpleasesponsormeclipstudiopaintiloveyou. For any of the animated gifs you see on my website I use Premiere Pro to edit and animate videos! That's more of a side hobby though.
