illus5020: Wine cat

I have a feeling for this part of the brief I was supposed to make more than one thing, but I kind of focused on one object in mind and that was the wine bottle that I left empty in the kitchen of our house. 
I decided to make a cat out of a wine bottle, pretty sure it was a Shiraz, I tend to drink shiraz wine and sit in the lounge with my housemate with a few glasses down me and suddenly I have a genius idea to make a wine bottle into a cat. 
Don't cats look like wine bottles? If you add a head to them it kind of has their face. Like sphinx cats. Long and elegant neck and the slender body just reminds me... of a sitting cat. It also felt appropriate for October.

Here's the initial photograph I took of the final creation I did. I kind of wanted a bit more atmosphere to it however and to make it come to like, kind of just looks like a wine bottle with some pieces of cardboard and a ball of masking tape for a head. So I was quick to made a decision to do some edits on not-photoshop. I kind of wanted it to appear more illustrative, maybe like a poster or a sort of character illustration for a concept. I'm not exactly sure what I was going for with the final piece of this part of the brief but here it is !!
